Inner Mongolia Weinihao Biotechnology Co., Ltd. grows chicory and extracts inulin from it, selling under the Vilof brand. The head office and plant are at No. 11 Fengshou Street in the industrial park at Xinhui Town, Aohan Banner, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia. Marketing is handled by Vilof (Shanghai) Food Technology Co., Ltd. from Huaihai East Road in Huangpu District, Shanghai.

The company has worked on chicory inulin for more than ten years and covers the chain from large-scale chicory growing through to extraction of the prebiotic. It runs two inulin production bases in northern China, one at Chengde in Hebei and one at Chifeng in Inner Mongolia.
