Langfang Huakang Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. (廊坊华康农业发展有限公司) was established in May 2004 as a Taiwan-invested enterprise, under a contract signed at the 21st Hebei 5.18 economic and trade fair that year. Its plant is at Xujiabao, Yangfengang Town, Bazhou, in Langfang, Hebei Province, about 90 kilometres south of Beijing and 30 kilometres from Tianjin South high-speed rail station.

The company processes agricultural raw material into spices and seasonings. It produces more than 30 items, among them chilli powder, garlic powder, black pepper powder, Chinese prickly ash powder, ginger powder and mixed spice blends, along with selected whole raw materials. Annual output is stated at more than 13,000 tonnes.

The site covers 87 mu, in excess of 50,000 square metres, and the company employs around 100 to 110 people. It obtained ISO 9000:2001 certification in January 2006, HACCP under ISO 22000:2005 in April 2006, and a Chinese QS production licence in November 2007. Langfang municipal government has designated it a city-level leading enterprise in agricultural industrialisation.
