Shenzhen Tangzheng Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. develops and manufactures food flavours and food additives at a site beside the Guanlan River in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. It was recognised as a national high-tech enterprise in 2012 and sells under three brands: Tangzheng, Mizhihuang and Lehuang.

Ethyl maltol is the company's main single-substance product. It is a flavour and sweetness enhancer with a caramel character, and Tangzheng supplies several grades, including a high caramel type, for use in beverages, confectionery, meat products, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and animal feed. Alongside it the company makes compound food flavours for both food and daily-use applications, compound sweeteners, bakery additives, emulsifiers and stabilisers, and sodium diacetate.

The company both manufactures and exports directly, and states that its products meet international quality standards. It sells to customers in China and abroad.
