Toanjin Tangchao Foods Industry makes meat extracts, fruit and vegetable powders, compound seasonings, savoury and sweet flavours and health food raw materials. Meat extract, worked up from poultry and livestock stock, is the line listed here and carries roast and stewed meat character into finished products.

The company took a 25 mu site in Tianjin's new technology industrial park in 2006 and built a processing plant and research centre there, and it holds national high-technology enterprise status. Output goes into health foods, solid drink mixes, baking, tabletted sweets, convenience and snack foods, frozen and meat products and seasoning blends. It develops formulations to a manufacturer's brief as well as selling from its own catalogue.
