The company gives annual output of modified starch and derived grades as 100,000 tonnes. Its range covers acid treated, pregelatinized, oxidised, acetylated and hydroxypropyl starches for food use. Raw material comes from within the group, which operates its own waxy maize contract growing base and corn starch line, so the plant works from starch produced upstream rather than bought in.
Manufacturing is certified to ISO 9001. The company employs a research group of roughly 20 to 30 staff and a separate export team, and reports sales into North and South America, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Southeast and East Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania.
