Xinjiang Tianjiao Hong'An works the whole chilli chain, from breeding and multiplying seed for drying-type peppers to processing the crop. Two groups of ingredients come out of it: dried chilli products, covering de-stemmed and de-capped pods, segments, flakes, grit and powder, and chilli extracts, namely paprika red colour and capsicum oleoresin.

The company dates from 2010 and has its head office at the national agricultural science park in Beiquan, Shihezi. It has more than 500,000 mu of processing-chilli land under contract across Xinjiang, together with growing bases in Hotan and in Andijan, Uzbekistan, and can handle 100,000 tonnes of dried chilli and 45,000 tonnes of chilli granules a year. Paprika colour output runs at 5,000 tonnes a year and reaches India, Spain, Germany and the United States. The company holds ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC and halal certification and is registered with the US FDA.
