Yancheng City Chunzhu Aroma Co., Ltd. manufactures aroma chemicals at Qianqiu Town, Sheyang county, Yancheng, Jiangsu province. Its catalogue runs to more than 50 products grouped by chemical family: alcohols, acids, esters, aldehydes and lactones. Esters in the range include ethyl butyrate and ethyl 2-methylbutyrate.

Development work is carried out through a municipal-level technology centre and the company's Jinxin flavour research institute, which handles new products and made-to-order items for customers needing grades that are not held in stock. Chunzhu applied in 2019 and again in 2021 to establish a Jiangsu provincial graduate workstation jointly with the Yancheng Institute of Technology, publishing the application materials on its own site as required by the provincial education department.

The company sells under the Chunzhu brand at home and abroad, and exhibited at the 22nd China International Food Additives and Ingredients Exhibition in Shanghai in 2018.
