Yunnan Baiyao Group Chinese Medicinal Resources Division

Yunnan Baiyao Group Chinese Medicinal Resources is the plant material arm of Yunnan Baiyao Group, the Kunming pharmaceutical company built around the Yunnan Baiyao haemostatic formula. It handles the sourcing and processing of Chinese medicinal crops, and the output that reaches the food and flavour trades includes capsicum oleoresin.

The company was set up in 1988 and traded for a time as Yunnan Baiyao Group Tianzihong Pharmaceutical. It works from Kunming with registered and paid-up capital of 16.4 million yuan. Its parent dates the Yunnan Baiyao formula to 1902, built its first factory in 1971 and listed in Shenzhen in 1993; alongside medicines the group covers medicinal plant resources, decoction pieces, health products and pharmaceutical distribution.
