Boshuai Biotechnology (Tianjin) was established on 26 September 2000 and produces soy and sunflower phospholipids. Its range is organised by solubility and grade: oil-soluble powdered phospholipids in grades one, two and three, and water-soluble modified powdered phospholipids. The company combines research, production and sales, and its registered business scope also covers plant extracts and chemical intermediates.

In early 2013 its research department completed a set of phospholipid grades aimed at different industries, and the company holds QS production licensing and ISO quality system certification. A new plant was built in 2020 with a floor area of more than 5,000 square metres.

The works are at No. 46 Taihua Road, Xinkou Town, Tianjin. The company notes that phospholipid applications continue to broaden as the functional and nutritional properties are studied further. Its site does not give capacity figures, headcount or export markets.
