It converts starch sugars such as glucose and fructose into rare sugars, allulose and tagatose among them, using an engineered enzyme and chassis cell platform it calls D-Shuffling, and it combines these with high intensity sweeteners, including the steviol glycosides listed here, through its own sweetness synergy platform.

The company covers research, production and sales from a base in Shanghai. It sells both single ingredients and blended sweetener systems, aimed at reduced calorie foods, drinks and confectionery for Chinese and export customers.
