Gabio Co., Ltd.

GABIO Co., Ltd. was established in December 2017 and works on the deep processing of plant protein. It occupies 43,913 square metres, or 65.87 acres, on Yushui Road in the Xiushui Industrial Park at Jiujiang, Jiangxi province, a location the company selected for its river port access.

Total planned investment is 190 million yuan. A rice protein line rated at 3,000 tonnes a year has been built and is in production, covering four powder series: rice protein, brown rice protein, organic brown rice protein and enzymatically hydrolysed rice protein, together with a rice and pea composite plant protein. Alongside manufacturing, the company handles import and export of vegetable protein products.

GABIO was recognised as a national high-tech enterprise in 2020. It runs its own research department and works closely with the College of Food Science and Technology at Nanchang University on product development.
