Gansu Lircon Biological Co., Ltd.

Gansu Lircon Biological makes inulin and fructooligosaccharides, in conventional and organic grades, and sells them as dietary fibre to food, drink and supplement manufacturers.

The company started in 2020 in Pingchuan District at Baiyin in Gansu, a chicory growing area, and reports annual capacity of 3,000 tonnes of inulin and 1,000 tonnes of fructooligosaccharides. It runs a membrane based extraction process, which lets it produce through the year rather than only in the harvest season, and its work reaches back into growing as well as processing. It reports customers in more than twenty countries.
