Guang'an Chengxin Chemical Co., Ltd.

Guang'an Chengxin Chemical Co., Ltd. is a fine chemical producer that takes natural gas as its feedstock and works the hydrogen cyanide chain and its downstream products. The company settled in the Guang'an Economic and Technological Development Zone in Sichuan province in 2007, at the Xinqiao Energy and Chemical Industry Concentration Zone, and began construction of its first phase in 2008.

Registered capital is 50 million yuan, the site covers close to 1,000 mu and the workforce exceeds 1,000. The product list runs to more than ten items, among them glycolonitrile, iminodiacetonitrile, glyphosate, diglyphosate, aniline acetonitrile, EDTA, glycine and sodium cyanide. Two integrated chains are in operation, one running hydrogen cyanide to glycolonitrile and the other hydrogen cyanide to sodium cyanide, which the company presents as the basis of its product structure.

The plant has been named a national green factory demonstration unit and the company has been listed among the top 100 private enterprises in Sichuan province and among Guang'an's larger taxpayers, alongside a series of municipal awards for project delivery and labour practice.
