Guangxi Chuan Jin Nuo Chemical Co., Ltd.

Guangxi Chuan Jin Nuo Chemical Co., Ltd. is the Guangxi manufacturing arm of Kunming Chuan Jin Nuo Chemical Co., Ltd., a phosphate producer listed on the ChiNext board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under code 300505. The Guangxi base represents total investment of 2.4 billion yuan and was built to make 400,000 tonnes a year of industrial-grade phosphates, merchant purified phosphoric acid and food-grade fine phosphates, alongside 1 million tonnes of basic phosphate fertiliser, sodium fluorosilicate and phosphogypsum building materials.

The company uses a wet-process phosphoric acid purification technology developed in house. A 100,000 tonne per year purified wet-process phosphoric acid unit started up in March 2022 and was raised to food-grade specification in December of that year. Purified phosphoric acid capacity now stands at 150,000 tonnes a year at 75 to 85 percent concentration, covering both industrial and food grades.

The parent company reports that it is the only producer in China making food-grade purified phosphoric acid at scale on its own process technology.
