Guangxi Keding New Materials Technology makes food-grade calcium carbonate in both ground (heavy) and precipitated (light) forms, together with compound nutrient fortifiers built around it. The material goes into foods, beverages and supplements where calcium is added as a mineral fortifier, and into the wider range of applications, from confectionery to oral care, that use carbonate as a bulking mineral.

The plant stands at Natong in Long'an County, part of Nanning in Guangxi, a province whose limestone reserves feed most of the Chinese calcium carbonate industry. It includes a class D clean room and an on-site laboratory that runs heavy metal testing and holds a class 10,000 microbiology room, so the company releases batches against its own analysis.
