Huangshan Greenxtract Co., Ltd.

Huangshan Greenxtract, registered in Chinese as Huangshan Hualvyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., processes tea and herbs into extracts and finished drinks. It is in the Huangshan Industrial Park in Huangshan District, Huangshan City, Anhui, on the northern slope of the Huangshan range, and draws on local tea, herb material and spring water. The company runs its own tea and medicinal plant growing bases, including certified organic tea gardens, and keeps a branch office in Changning District, Shanghai.

Two fully automated extraction and processing lines, designed in-house, run under programmable logic control with automatic quality traceability. The plant takes material through extraction, separation, concentration, freeze drying and spray drying, and delivers extract powders, solid granules, liquids and concentrates, and tablets. Product families are tea and herbal extracts, supplied as concentrated juices, instant freeze-dried powders, instant spray-dried powders and homogenised whole powders from roots, leaves, flowers, fruits, teas and fungi; natural solid beverages; and formulated plant-based functional drinks. Herbal blends include chrysanthemum, polygonatum, lotus leaf, goji, rose, osmanthus green tea, blueberry, lemon black tea, ginger and jujube.

The company works to an all-low-temperature process, using low temperature extraction, low temperature membrane separation, low temperature flash concentration and intelligent freeze drying. It holds FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 certification and has passed audits by food, beverage, supplement, pharmaceutical and restaurant chain customers. It is a national high-technology enterprise with a postdoctoral workstation and an Anhui provincial engineering technology centre, acts as an OEM and ODM supplier to more than twenty companies, and offers pilot and scale-up process development for new extracts and drinks.
