Jiangsu Hongyuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. processes titanium dioxide at Fangzhuang in Xushe Town, Yixing City, Jiangsu Province. The company does not mine or produce base pigment; it takes titanium dioxide and further processes it into pharmaceutical grade and food additive grade material.

The company holds both a Food Production Licence and a Drug Production Licence issued by the Chinese authorities, and its production workshop was designed and built to Chinese GMP standards. Pharmaceutical grade titanium dioxide is offered against USP, BP, EP and CP monographs, and the food grade material is supplied to meet food additive requirements in export markets.

Three grades are listed on the company site: HY 3100 food and pharmaceutical grade, HY 3200 food grade and HY 3500 feed grade.
