Hubei Magic Health Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2021 as a joint investment by Huadong Medicine and the Angel Yeast group. It develops, produces and sells raw materials for health foods and functional personal-care products, working mainly with ingredients of microbial origin.

The company is located in the biological industry park in Xiaoting District, Yichang, Hubei Province. Its site covers about 219 mu, roughly 14.6 hectares, with a total built area of 164,000 square metres and a planned investment of around 1.2 billion yuan. Its listed capabilities run from strain selection and fermentation through separation and purification, analytical testing and end-use application work.

Registered products include vitamin K2 as MK-7, nattokinase, pyrroloquinoline quinone and its disodium salt, phosphatidylserine, ergothioneine, ectoin, lycopene and hyaluronic acid. The company reports around 40 development projects in its pipeline and holds granted and pending Chinese and international patents.
