Mianyang SMG-Biotech makes flavour and fragrance materials, both synthetic and natural. The catalogue is split into synthetic fragrances, natural flavours, nature identical fragrances and synthetic intermediates, and takes in ambroxide and cis-jasmone. Cooling agents are the line the company builds around, for food and for daily chemical use.

It was founded in July 2021 at Zitong County in Mianyang, Sichuan, on a 32,000 square metre site in the provincial health food industrial park, built with investment of 140 million yuan. The plant has three production workshops with warehousing, a testing centre, a development centre and its own waste water and waste gas treatment station, and the company puts annual output value above 300 million yuan.
