Nanjing Biotogether Co., Ltd.

Nanjing Biotogether Co., Ltd. was founded in 2005 and sits at No. 8 Shuangfeng Road in the Pukou Economic Development Zone, in the core of Nanjing's Jiangbei New Area. It combines research, production and sales, and draws its technology base from the National Biochemical Engineering Technology Research Centre at Nanjing Tech University.

Production is built around enzymatic and fermentation routes to phosphorylated compounds. The company has developed more than twenty products in this family, including 5'-nucleotides such as AMP, CMP, GMP and UMP and their disodium salts, fructose 1,6-diphosphate metal salts, yeast, RNA, nuclease P1, cyclic AMP and citicoline. Current capacity is stated as 200 tonnes a year of food-grade nucleotides and 50 tonnes a year of nuclease, alongside other biological products. End uses run across food additives, feed additives, human and animal nutrition and pharmaceutical intermediates.

Products carry ISO 9001, Halal and Kosher certification. The company is a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Jiangsu "specialised and sophisticated" enterprise, and holds dozens of granted Chinese invention patents. It has run projects under the national 863 programme, the National Science and Technology Support Programme and Jiangsu achievement-transfer schemes, and hosts a Jiangsu engineering technology research centre and a Nanjing academician workstation.
