Ningbo Excare Pharm Inc.

The company behind Excare Pharm was founded in 2009 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, and now trades as Ningbo Yujian Health Technology Co., Ltd. Its plant is in the Meishan industrial cluster on the coast, on a site of about 70 mu with roughly 60,000 square metres of buildings. Facilities include plant extract lines, functional food lines and a research and quality control centre.

Work centres on plant extracts and functional plant components for pharmaceutical, health food, beverage and cosmetic customers. Bilberry and cranberry extracts are lead products, alongside vitamin premixes and derivatives and finished health products. The company runs a direct global sourcing programme for botanical raw material, which it uses to control authenticity and traceability of incoming herbs.

Quality control runs under an NSF-GMP system. The laboratory is equipped with HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS and HP-TLC, and tests for around 400 pesticide residues, more than 200 active constituents, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, aflatoxins, plasticisers, heavy metals and microbiology. Certifications include the Chinese SC food production licence, US cGMP and NSF-GMP, Kosher, Halal and European and US organic certification. The company is a National High-Tech Enterprise, holds several granted invention patents and was named to Ningbo's key enterprise research institute list in 2026.
