Pingdingshan Tianjing Plant Albumen Co., Ltd.

Pingdingshan Tianjing Plant Albumen makes soy protein isolate, sold under the SoyGlow name. The range is split by function: a dispersible type for beverages and nutritional drinks, an emulsion gel type for meat alternatives and other applications that need binding and texture, and an injection type for brine-injected meat, where water holding matters. A soy polysaccharide line, added in 2014, sits alongside it.

The business goes back to 1997, when Pingdingshan Tianyu Plant Protein started a 5,000 tonne line, among the first plant protein lines running in China. A second 5,000 tonne line followed in 2006, the company restructured under its present name in 2008, and Pingdingshan Shuangfeng Group took a controlling stake in 2016. Annual capacity now runs above 10,000 tonnes. It works from non-GMO soybeans and low-temperature meal, and exports to more than 30 countries.
