Qingdao UnisonEco Food Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2013 and processes dehydrated vegetables at Dianbu Town in Laixi, a county-level city under Qingdao in Shandong Province. Laixi sits in one of China's main pungent garlic growing areas, and the company covers the chain from planting and harvest through cold storage to drying, milling and export. It is classified as a provincial key agricultural enterprise and a high-tech enterprise.

Total investment is stated at 12 million US dollars. The site occupies 83 mu with about 35,000 square metres of buildings, and annual production capacity is given as 35,000 tonnes. Dehydration and milling equipment turns garlic into flakes, granules from 5 to 40 mesh, powder and roasted grades, and handles white onion in flakes and granules, green and red bell pepper, carrot, tomato and horseradish. Quality control covers incoming raw material through to finished goods before shipment.

The company farms its own supply base of about 50,000 mu, of which 2,000 mu is certified organic, growing garlic, white onion, bell pepper and spinach, with periodic testing of soil, water and the surrounding environment. Certifications held are BRC grade A, ISO 22000, HACCP, GLOBALG.A.P., halal and OU kosher. Products are exported to more than 30 countries across North America, South America, Europe and Southeast Asia, and the customer list includes several large multinational food manufacturers.
