Qinyang Zhongde Yam Co., Ltd.

Qinyang Zhongde Huaiyao Co., Ltd. (沁阳市众德怀药有限公司) processes Huai yam in Qinyang, part of the Jiaozuo prefecture of Henan province, the recognised core growing area for the four Huai medicinal crops. Its factory on Huancheng North Road covers about 100 mu, or 66,000 square metres.

Output is built around iron stick yam (tie gun shan yao), sold as yam powder, a compound nutritional yam powder and dried yam noodles. The company runs its own planting bases totalling roughly 1,500 mu, split between green-certified, organic and selenium-enriched ground, and contracts a further 5,000 mu with local growers.

Certification covers the Huai yam geographical indication mark, organic certification, China green food certification and selenium-enriched product certification. The founder is a recognised inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage listing for the planting and processing of the four Huai medicinal crops.
