Runloy Biotech (Anhui) Co., Ltd.

Runloy Biotech (Anhui) is the manufacturing arm of a polydextrose business whose parent, Renliang Biotechnology (Shanghai), was set up in 2014. The head office is in Shanghai and the production base is in Anhui. The founders date their involvement in polydextrose and dietary fibre to 2002, and state that the key technical and management staff each have more than ten years in the polydextrose trade.

Polydextrose, made from a corn-derived feedstock, is the main product. Alongside it the company runs two service lines: development and blending of solid beverage powders, and compounding of food ingredients and additives into customer formulations, offered together with basic formula development.

The plant was designed to GMP requirements. The company says it brought in government bodies and third-party specialists at the design stage, working with its own technical team, so that the layout and construction would meet national standards and GMP production rules as well as energy and safety requirements. It is registered as a high-technology enterprise and combines research, production, sales and technical service in one operation.
