ShangHai YiGu Biotechnology deals in starch and starch sugars, plant proteins, functional food ingredients and cereal premixes, and does further processing on grain and feed raw materials. The starch side covers modified starch, waxy maize starch and cassava starch, with malt syrup, crystalline fructose and glucose alongside it, and the protein side runs to wheat, pea, soy and maize proteins. Baking premixes complete the range.

The company was registered in 2019 in the Jinshan industrial zone in Shanghai and works across three segments, food, grain and feed. Its business is import and export trade plus contract processing rather than owning primary plant, and its management came out of agricultural processing and trading. It reports annual volume of about 30,000 tonnes.
