Sun-green Bio-tech Co., Ltd.

Sun-Green Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yango Investment (HK) Ltd. and makes isolated soy protein. Its plant is in the Pingchao industrial park in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, with offices at No. 151 Hongqiao Road in the Zhongtian building in central Nantong.

The company works from Chinese non-GMO soybeans. Its published process extracts alkali-soluble protein from defatted soybean meal under controlled pH and temperature, then acidifies to the isoelectric point to precipitate the protein, which the company says raises purity and recovery while cutting water use compared with older methods. An in-house research group develops functional variants to customer specification, and finished lots are put through simulated application testing before shipment.

Production areas were built to European hygiene requirements and run on HACCP principles, with microbiological limits set above the industry standard. Customers are in Europe, North America, South Africa, Australia and Asia. United States customs records list the company as a regular exporter of soy protein.
