Suzhou Gaofeng Meisheng Technology makes modified starches from maize, waxy maize, cassava, potato and wheat. The list covers distarch phosphate, acetylated distarch phosphate, acetylated distarch adipate, hydroxypropyl starch and hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate, starch acetate, oxidised and oxidised hydroxypropyl starch, acid-treated starch, octenyl succinic anhydride starch sodium and pregelatinised starch, plus low-moisture grades for additive blends and ready-made premixes.

The company works from the Wuzhong economic development zone in Suzhou on a site of 10,380 square metres with 6,840 square metres of plant, and carries registered capital of 20 million yuan. Production and testing equipment is imported. Customers are in baking, seasonings, snacks, dairy, fried foods, jam and pie fillings and prepared dishes, and the company holds stock for direct despatch across about thirty Chinese provinces.
