Yichun Dahaigui Life Science Co., Ltd. (宜春大海龟生命科学股份有限公司) was registered in October 2010 and works from the pharmaceutical industrial park in Yuanzhou District, Yichun, Jiangxi Province.

The company refines minor components from vegetable oil deodoriser distillate. It groups its output into four areas: refined natural vitamin E as oil and powder together with derivatives, phytosterols, plant squalene and squalane, and oryzanol with ferulic acid. Tocotrienols, phytosterol esters, single-isomer stigmasterol, androstenedione and gamma oryzanol are also listed, and fatty acids and fatty acid methyl esters come off the same process streams.

Reported annual capacity is 1,200 tonnes of natural vitamin E, 1,100 tonnes of phytosterols, 10,000 tonnes of fatty acid methyl esters and 10,000 tonnes of fatty acids. The company is the largest domestic producer of phytosterol, which is the starting material for steroid hormone synthesis, and that pharmaceutical use sits alongside its food and supplement business. It holds national high-technology enterprise status and ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 certification. Products are sold within China and exported to Japan and Europe.
