Zhejiang Wanglin Bio-Tech Co., Ltd.

Zhejiang Wanglin Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. was established in December 2014 and makes vegetable carbon black, the food colour E153, along with charcoal powders for cosmetics, activated coconut charcoal powder, bamboo charcoal powder, binchotan charcoal powder, cuttlefish juice powder and ultrafine edible plant powders. It was the first certified producer of food grade vegetable carbon black in China and holds production licence SC20133088100266.

The plant covers 8,000 square metres on a 13,000 square metre site at 99 Nanjiao, Hongxin, Dachen, in Jiangshan, Quzhou, Zhejiang, and includes a GMP workshop and its own testing equipment. Applications span baking, confectionery, noodles and black coloured foods, health products, pharmaceuticals such as medicinal charcoal tablets and soft capsules, cosmetics, feed and coatings.

Bulk product is exported to the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Russia, Israel, the Middle East, Japan, Korea, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil and Taiwan. Certification covers ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001 and FSSC 22000, with KOF kosher, MUI halal and JAKIM halal approvals.
