Zhoukou Shanghe Flavours Co., Ltd.

Zhoukou Shanghe Flavours Co., Ltd. was founded in 2011 by technicians with about twenty years in flavour and fragrance work. The plant is on Kailai Road in the Zhoukou Economic Development Zone food industry park, Henan province, and sells under the Shanghe brand with research support from an office in Shanghai.

The site includes a class 100,000 clean air workshop and its own testing laboratory. The company developed roasting-based aromatisation processes for Sichuan pepper, chilli and cumin, and lists those roasted spice products alongside food flavours and seasonings. Customers named by the company include Zhongjing, Xuemailong, Chunfa, Malawangzi, Yanjin Puzi and Weilong.

Construction of a second-phase building for compound seasonings, with stated capacity of 10,000 tonnes, began in June 2025. The company exhibits at the FIC fair run by the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association.
