Anhui Ante Food Co., Ltd.

Anhui Ante Food was established in 2004 and processes maize and wheat into alcohol, starch, vital wheat gluten, baijiu and imported-style spirits. The wheat side of the business is what supplies the food ingredient market: wheat starch and wheat gluten are co-products of the same milling and separation line that feeds the alcohol plant.

The company is at No. 1 Jintai Fifth Road in the Suzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in northern Anhui. The site covers 350 mu, and headcount is given variously as 300 and 400, with close to 200 employees holding a college diploma or higher. It is recognised as a provincial-level leading enterprise in agricultural industrialisation.

Its enterprise technology centre carries provincial accreditation and houses a model-worker studio and a skilled-trades studio. The Ante brand extra-grade alcohol has won a national quality award, the Ante trademark is registered as a well-known Anhui trademark, its reagent-grade alcohol is designated an Anhui famous-brand product, and Jin Ante is recognised as an Anhui export brand by the provincial commerce department. Anhui Ante sits on the standing council of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association and is a vice-chair unit of the China Alcohol Industry Association. Other recognitions include a China quality integrity enterprise award, the Anhui Quality Management Award, and designation as a provincial circular economy pilot unit and an agricultural export demonstration base.
