Anhui Province Yifan Spice Co., Ltd.

Anhui Province Yifan Spice was registered in 2000 with registered capital of 100 million yuan. It is a bulk producer of mint derivatives, its main lines being menthol and menthol crystals, mint oil and peppermint oil, alongside intermediates for the antiviral drug lamivudine. The mixture of food-grade aroma chemicals and pharmaceutical intermediates on one site is typical of the Chinese mint sector, where the same distillation and crystallisation assets serve both markets.

The company runs its own large mint planting and research base, and works back from the crop to control raw material origin rather than buying oil on the open market. It states that traceability from the growing stage is the basis of its quality position and of its effort to sell Chinese menthol under a branded identity in export markets.

Yifan is based in Zone B of the Taihe Industrial Park in Taihe County, Fuyang, Anhui. It exhibits at CPhI and at the China International Medicinal Ingredients trade fair as well as at FIC, which reflects the split between its pharmaceutical and food customers.
