Anhui Sealong Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Anhui Sealong Biotechnology, registered in Chinese as Anhui Xuelang Biotechnology, is a joint-stock high-technology company working in new materials, functional food additives and biodegradable plastics. Its food ingredient output is the four-carbon organic acid family: DL-malic acid, L-malic acid, fumaric acid and L-aspartic acid. The company also makes a fully biodegradable plastic series, described as a white to yellowish solid that is insoluble in water and degrades over roughly three months.

The plant is at No. 6 Jinchong Road in the Mohekou Industrial Zone, Huaishang District, Bengbu, Anhui, on a site the company gives as 260 acres. It lies east of the Huai River and south of the Ningluo expressway, about two and a half hours by road from both Hefei Xinqiao and Nanjing Lukou airports.
