Anqiu Eagle Cellulose Co., Ltd.

Anqiu Eagle Cellulose was founded in 1985 and produces sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and polyanionic cellulose. The two products share a process route, with CMC going to food, pharmaceutical, detergent and battery applications and PAC serving oilfield drilling fluids, so the plant runs a wide viscosity and substitution range off common equipment.

The factory covers 90,000 square metres and annual production capacity is 40,000 tonnes. It is at Eagle Avenue, Linghe Street, in Anqiu, part of the Weifang prefecture in Shandong. A trading office was later opened in Qingdao to handle export shipping.

Certification covers ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC, Kosher, and both Halal and MUI Halal, the latter being the Indonesian scheme, which points to Southeast Asian food customers as a significant market. The company sums up its commercial approach as professionalism and integrity, competing on consistent product and price rather than on formulation service.
