Beijing Guaran Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (北京瓜尔润科技股份有限公司) was incorporated on 11 August 2005 as Beijing Guaran Science and Technology Co., Ltd., and converted to a joint-stock company under its present name in July 2015. Its registered address is in Gaoliying town, Shunyi District, Beijing, with an office in Chaoyang District. Registered capital is about 58.8 million yuan and Liu Yanjing is chairman and legal representative.

The company works on galactomannan and soluble-fibre hydrocolloids. Its range covers guar gum in several grades, guar splits, modified guar gum, partially hydrolysed guar gum, cassia gum, locust bean gum, tamarind gum and tamarind gum powder, and psyllium husk. It handles both own-brand material and contract production to overseas specifications.

Guaran supplies outside food and beverage as well as within it, with customers in pharmaceuticals and personal care, oil and gas extraction, textile printing and dyeing, papermaking, construction and incense manufacture. It received national high-technology enterprise status in 2024 along with a provincial designation as a specialised and innovative small or medium enterprise, and a China General Chamber of Commerce science and technology award in 2023.
