Bioakso (Shanghai) Supply Chain Co., Ltd. supplies starch-derived sugars and oligosaccharides from Shanghai. It is the Chinese arm of the Bioakso group, whose production company, Bioakso Sugar (Thailand) Co., Ltd., operates in Prachinburi Province in Thailand.

The raw material is cassava rather than corn or wheat, and the group works from tapioca starch that it states is non-GMO. Its main products are isomalto-oligosaccharides and fructo-oligosaccharides, both used as low-calorie bulking sweeteners and prebiotic fibres, with polydextrose and other plant-derived saccharides also listed. Organic grades are offered.

The Shanghai company handles sourcing, supply chain management and customised ingredient solutions for customers in China and elsewhere.
