Chongqing Lihong Fine Chemicals makes sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and polyanionic cellulose, and very little else. Grades run from food CMC through toothpaste, oil drilling, mining, ceramic, paper, coating, textile and battery types, and the company also makes ammonium, lithium and potassium carboxymethyl cellulose.

Its plant sits in the Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone, with installed capacity of 63,000 tonnes a year. The company holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000, OHSAS 18001, Halal, Kosher and API Specification Q1 certification, keeps offices in Shandong, Hangzhou and Guangzhou for domestic delivery, and exports to Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa.
