Daming Cocoa Products (Jiangsu) grinds and presses cocoa. Its range covers cocoa butter, cocoa liquor, cocoa cake, cocoa powder and cocoa nibs; the butter and liquor go to chocolate and coating manufacturers, and the cake is milled into powder for bakery and drinks. It also makes chocolate, solid beverages and premixed powders, including contract production for other brands.

The business began as Shanghai Daming Cocoa Products, itself descended from the Shanghai No. 4 Oils and Fats Factory, and has worked on cocoa since the 1950s. It moved from Qingpu in Shanghai to Zhenjiang in Jiangsu, where it now manufactures.
