Dongying Linguang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.

Dongying Lingguang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. makes sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and polyanionic cellulose in Dongying City, Shandong province, using natural plant fibre as its feedstock. It employs 230 people, reports assets of 23 million US dollars and occupies a site of 133,400 square metres.

Current capacity has reached 20,000 tonnes a year. A third expansion adds a 30,000 tonne CMC project on a further 70,000 square metres, with total investment of 56 million US dollars; construction has started and completion was scheduled for 2025. The company also bought a 100-acre plot in 2023 for a new factory.

Finished grades go into food, pharmaceuticals, toothpaste, household chemicals, battery and new energy applications, textile printing and dyeing, ceramics, papermaking and oil drilling. Certification built up over the past decade covers ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC, FSSC 22000, Halal and Kosher, and the company operates a whole-process quality control and traceability system. It is a governing unit of the China Cellulose Industry Association, has been named a provincial contract-abiding and trustworthy enterprise and a Shandong consumer satisfaction unit, and exports to more than 130 countries and regions.
