Foodmate Co., Ltd.

Foodmate Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012. Its factory and headquarters are in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, and it runs a marketing and sales office in Shanghai. The company develops, produces and sells functional protein and hydrocolloid ingredients.

Its functional protein line covers gelatin, instant gelatin, cold soluble gelatin, capsule gelatin, collagen and collagen peptides. Its hydrocolloid line covers carrageenan and konjac gum, and it also sells compound sweeteners. In total it lists more than 200 product variants, used in soft capsules, gummies, marshmallows, jellies, meat products and dairy.

The plant covers around 96,000 square metres with annual capacity of about 28,000 tonnes, including ISO class 100,000 cleanrooms. A second construction phase began in 2022. Certifications held include ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal under both HFC and IFRC, FDA registration, Sedex and EcoVadis. The company operates research centres in Jiangxi and Shanghai and three joint laboratories with universities, and exports to more than 100 countries and regions.
