GEGU (Guangdong) Technical makes food emulsifiers by synthesis and distillation. Its range covers mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, polyglycerol esters including polyglycerol polyricinoleate, propylene glycol esters, sorbitan esters such as the sorbitan monostearate listed here, sucrose esters and stearoyl lactylates.

The company is the Shaoguan production base built by Guangzhou Zhiyou Additives, which has made emulsifiers and surfactants for more than a decade. It also makes non-ionic surfactants and auxiliaries for textiles, printing and dyeing and plastics, works with South China University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University and Jinan University on development, and quotes three to five day delivery because it controls the steps ahead of distillation itself.
