GELITA Pingyang Gelatine Co., Ltd. is the Chinese gelatin plant of the GELITA group. The group's locations list places the site at Dongjiang Village, Qiancang Town, Wenzhou 325411, in Pingyang County, Zhejiang province, one of two GELITA production sites in China alongside a plant at Liaoyuan in Jilin. A separate GELITA sales office operates from Lippo Plaza on Middle Huaihai Road in Shanghai.

The parent is GELITA AG of Uferstrasse 7, Eberbach, Germany, registered at the Mannheim district court under HRB 333796. The group makes collagen proteins, principally gelatin and collagen peptides, employs more than 2,900 people and runs production sites, sales offices, biotech units and logistics centres across five continents. Byproducts of collagen production are recovered as phosphates for fertiliser, proteins for aquaculture feed and fats for renewable fuels.
