Hebei Meishen Technology Co., Ltd.

Hebei Meishen Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2003, succeeding a Sino-foreign joint venture with a thirty year history, and works on the deep processing of magnesium compounds. It is located west of Chuangye Avenue in Guangzong County, Xingtai, Hebei.

Products cover magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium sulphate and magnesium hydroxide, made in food, pharmaceutical, analytical reagent, silicon steel, reactive, light and granular grades, plus gym chalk in block and ball form. The company says it has developed several hundred varieties applied across more than a hundred industries and serves over 2,000 customers in more than a hundred countries and regions, and that it can develop grades to a customer's specification.

Three main production lines are split between pharmaceutical, food and industrial output and are held by three wholly owned subsidiaries. Meishen Technology handles industrial products on a 66,667 square metre site and is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and an intellectual property management system, with a national pollutant discharge permit. The metallurgical magnesium company makes the pharmaceutical and food grade magnesium oxide, sulphate and carbonate on a 50,666 square metre site and holds ISO 22000 and GMP certification. The site also lists KOF-K kosher and FSSC 22000 certification.

Meishen is a national high-tech enterprise and a national specialised and new little giant enterprise, an intellectual property advantage enterprise in Hebei, a provincial R&D centre enterprise, and vice-chairman unit of the China Inorganic Salt Industry Association. It was a drafting unit for the Chinese industry standards HG/T 2573-2012 and HG/T 3928-2012. Its chairman, Sun Wen, chairs the magnesium compound branch of the same association and was a principal drafter of the national industry standard for light and active magnesium oxide.
