Innobio Corporation Limited

INNOBIO Corporation Limited was founded in 2003 by Wu Wenzhong and is headquartered in Dalian, Liaoning Province. It develops and manufactures nutritional ingredients using microencapsulation and biosynthesis as its two core process technologies, and describes its microencapsulation platform as being in its third generation.

The ingredient portfolio is organised into amino acids and peptides, functional lipids, vitamins and carotenoids. Beyond the carotenoid line, the association product register records branched-chain and essential amino acids, instantised BCAA powder, algal DHA, diglycerides and medium-chain triglycerides, MCT powder, vitamin D3 powder and microencapsulated sorbic acid. Customers are dietary supplement, functional food, dairy and beverage manufacturers.

The company operates production bases in Dalian and in Jiamusi, Heilongjiang, and has set up subsidiaries in the United States, the Netherlands, Shanghai and Heilongjiang. It is a member of the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association and exhibits at the spring FIC trade fair.
