Jiangsu Ruijia New Materials produces acetate esters for food and industrial use. Triacetin is the main line, and the company also makes n-propyl acetate, while the wider Ruijia group covers monoacetin, diacetin, isopropyl acetate, ethylene glycol diacetate and a range of foundry binders.

The company began in 2009 as Jiangsu Ruichen Chemical and works from the riverside development zone at Rugao, on a 97 mu site with registered capital of 48 million yuan. It started its first production line in 2011 and a second in 2013. Its parent, Jiangsu Ruijia Food Additives, dates from 1981 and sits at Zhoutie in Yixing. The group holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 certification along with kosher and halal approval, is registered with the FDA and under REACH, and took part in drafting the Chinese industry standard for industrial n-propyl acetate.
