Newgen Biotech (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., registered in Chinese as 宁波希诺亚海洋生物科技有限公司, was founded in 2013 and operates from the Chengdong Industrial Park in Xiangshan County, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Its work centres on developing marine biological resources into industrial ingredients.

The company runs laboratories for high-throughput screening of marine microorganisms and for production process development, plus a marine drug research centre, and has built a biopharmaceutical production base to international GMP standards. Its product lines cover marine polysaccharides, marine peptides, enzyme preparations including lactase, and probiotics.
