Shaanxi Jiuyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (陕西玖源生物科技有限公司) was established in 2012 and makes plant extracts, health-food raw materials and fruit and vegetable powders. Its plant is on Dianchang Road in Shijing Town, Huyi District, on the southwestern edge of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province.

The site covers more than 70,000 square metres. Installed plant includes six-cubic-metre extraction vessels, concentration vessels, clean processing rooms and a standardised testing laboratory. Stated annual output is over 6,000 tonnes. Products span botanical extracts, registered health-food ingredients and dried fruit and vegetable powders, with phosphatidylserine among the isolated compounds and blueberry and cranberry among the fruit powders.

The company holds ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP and ISO 45001 certification, along with Kosher and Halal certificates and a Chinese SC food production licence. It is registered with the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association and has exhibited at the spring Food Ingredients China trade fair.
