Shandong Fortune Food, registered as Shandong Taijia Dongheng Biotechnology, turns fruit and vegetables into concentrates and functional sugars. It makes concentrated fruit and vegetable juice, including decolourised and deacidified grades, prebiotic sugars such as fructooligosaccharides and isomaltooligosaccharide, plant colours including anthocyanins, coffee products and enzyme preparations.

The plant sits at Difang town in Pingyi County, Linyi, Shandong, a district known in China for canned fruit, which places the company next to its raw material. The site covers 100,000 square metres and employs more than 500 production staff. It runs six juice extraction and processing lines plus one line each for functional sugar, prebiotics, anthocyanin extraction and coffee, with its own water treatment plant and testing laboratory. Annual sales exceed 400 million yuan and it sells into more than 100 countries.
