Shandong Haigen Biotechnology extracts steviol glycosides at No. 3 Taoyuan Road in the Taiwan Industrial Park at Qufu, Shandong. The site is about three kilometres from Qufu East high-speed rail station and from Qufu customs, 40 kilometres from the canal port at Jining, and within about 240 kilometres of Rizhao port and 360 kilometres of Qingdao port.

The company has been in the stevia trade for close to two decades. In 2013 it committed CNY 330 million to a new plant and production line in the Taiwan Industrial Park, which is now in operation. Products are grouped by glycoside: the RA, RB, RC, RD and RM series, stevioside as the STV series, total steviol glycosides and enzymatically glucosylated stevia. Organic grades are supplied, and the company also sells stevia seed, stevia leaf and finished stevia sugar.

Sales reach more than 30 Chinese provinces and municipalities alongside export markets in Asia, the Americas and Europe. Certification covers FSSC22000, halal, kosher, non-GMO and NOP organic. The chairman is Xing Haigen and the general manager Xing Zhenwen.
